Do you have a SYSTEM for swaps??

ME?!
well, for certain swaps, I made a spreadsheet or document with columns... then kinda filled in with... who was making them... photo size, journaling, etc... then I cropped, edited pics, etc and saved them with a new name that corresponded with the swap.
BUT... I switched computers, and slacked... now I'm so unorganized! ROFL!!!
at least I have those for some to help me in the future...

I need a better system for when we start up again! LOL!

The one swap that I was in all of the pages are neatly placed in the books without pictures.

I have two shelves on my paper rack dedicated to swap layouts. One shelf is for layouts that are personalized or for specific photos such as holidays or seasons. Since I scrap more or less chronologically (with a few veers for photos I can't wait to scrap) I wait until that photo comes up in order and then pop it on the pre-made layout.

The other shelf is full of generic swap layouts. I pull them out each time I get a batch of photos and use whichever ones work with the photos I have. Then I put them back for my next developing session. I have a few on each shelf that have been there forever waiting for the right picture, but then BOOM one day the perfect shot comes along. In fact, I just scrapped a page using a 3 year old swap layout. Had to switch the title, but it worked!

I don't do many swaps. When I did a few with this group a while back, I used a spreadsheet to keep myself organized. But I still goofed and ended up asking for 2 layouts to be personalized for the same set of photos. Luckily, it was Christmas so I had plenty of other photos and was able to make one of the layouts work with another set of photos.
